Travis Stone
Cliff

Travis started training on and off camera a few years ago and has never looked back. He’s trained at Cindy Tanas Actors Studio, Pro Actors Lab, and The Second City; he is always looking to grow as an artist. His training and hard work isn’t going unnoticed as he slowly makes a name for himself in Toronto’s independent scene.
Travis is no stranger to features and short films. Some of his recent credits include, Reese Eveneshen’s promotional short The Bar, a cameo in Dave Vaughn’s Advocate, a turn as a young detective in Bryan Edward’s The Borough-recently accepted into the Toronto Independent Film Festival, and in Anthony Scott Burn’s YouTube hit Tron: Destiny.
Travis brings hard work, passion, and dedication to every project he works on and is always on the hunt for his next challenge. He is very excited to be playing the role of Cliff in Smart Work and can’t wait to help bring this great story to life.

Paul Nicholls
Burns

Paul started as an actor at an early age, appearing as lead talent in both public and high school productions.

In his later years, Paul returned to acting, this time in film and on television. To date he has portrayed a wide variety of characters from CEO to street denizen, and “all-Canadian-Guy-Next-Door” to murderer. He says provides “character on cue”.

Among his recent film roles, he has appeared as a drunken salesman who gets murdered by the lead character in Kevin Lane’s “I Choose Chaos”, as the CEO in Natalie Harris’s “Life in a Jar of Rocks”, and in hip-hop group Middle Management’s “Cake in the Kitchen”, as a creepy taxi-driver in Asit Kaul’s “A Date with Fear” and as the loving grandfather in Nicole Benoit’s “A Cry in the Dark”. Paul is also one of the lead news presenters in Michael Emberley’s hilarious web series “Propagator Newz”.

For the past number of years, Paul has appeared on Rogers Television co-hosting the Georgina Cares Telethon , a fund-raising event for a local charity. His long career as a leader has taught him to be collegial while on set, and his creative sensibilities often contribute excellent ideas to any production. He practices the 4 P’s of Paul: Preparation, Punctuality, Professionalism and a Positive Attitude.

Mandy May Cheetham
Betty

Mandy May Cheetham is a rising star in the indie film scene. She has appeared in over 35 independent films including Skylight Productions' 'The Sun Never Rises,' Crashlight Films' 'The Locker,' and Bravery Street Producitons' "Light in this Lighted Room.'

Mandy May has appeared in theater and musical theatre productions, feature films, shorts, television shows and commericals. Included in this...list are over 35 short films, a live sketch comedy show called 'Something Outrageous' at the 45th Street Theatre in New York directed by Michael Bowen Horn, a principal role in a Marlene Smith Production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and a feature role in a Dragon's Den Spin off on the Slice Network called 'Risky Business.'

She has performed Improv at The UCBeast Theatre, The Comedy Bar, The Pitt, John Candy Box Theatre and The Black Swan. Mandy May was a featured performer at the 2011 IIFA awards in Toronto in front of a live audience of 30,000 and a television audience of over 600 Million.

Mandy May has also been a professional choreographer for over 10 years and has trained athletes in over 14 countries. Mandy May was the choreographer for a feature film entitled 'It's a Boy/Girl Thing' produced by Elton John and in two National commercials for Best Buy and Playtex. As a performer she has appeared in hundreds of competitions, festivals and corporate, athletic, political and fund raising events.
