KELLY-MARIE MURTHA

Kelly-Marie Murtha, was born and raised in a small town in Eastern Ontario. Her father was a high school English teacher and her mother was a nurse. She is the eldest of 3 girls, and is the proud aunt of 3 nieces and a fellow ginger nephew! Kelly-Marie has always had a love of film and performing but she really got the acting bug while singing and dancing in her high school musicals! She continued on at Trent University in Peterborough where she performed the role of Hermia in A Midsummers Night Dream, was in a performance of King Lear and performed Brecht with an indie theatre troupe.
Since moving to Toronto, Kelly-Marie has performed and starred in numerous award-winning films and also has numerous theatre credits, including Sex, Relationships and Sometimes ...Love which ran at the Poor Alex Theatre and where she was awarded Best Female Performer, voted on by her castmates.
It has been a busy couple of years as Kelly-Marie has taken the step to behind the camera as director/producer/writer on numerous projects, including her first film Smart Work which received glowing reviews for being her first film, won the 2014 Royal Reel Award in the Canadian Film Competition at the Canada International Film Festival and was picked up for world-wide distribution by CinemaStar Productions LLC. One of Kelly-Marie’s next projects as director is a film entitled You Can’t Eat Muffins on the Mississippi Under a Full Moon that teams her with Canadian actress Tonya Lee Williams (http://kms141.wix.com/muffinsmississippi).

A music producer located in the southern parts of Ontario, who has a background in music and spirituality. His music inspirations come from anything from old blues classics to modern day house music. His spiritual inspirations come from many old text and an author by the name of Doreen Virtue. He is on a quest to teach people about the power of the source and raise the vibrations of the world. He hopes that through his music people will find their way to enlightenment and to finally see a world with peace, harmony and balance!'
